Breathing Dust

Did you ever see dust think
                see it walk
                see it drink

Did you ever see dust hate
                see it love
                see it mate

Did you ever see dust evict God
                endorse the devil
                love God
                in faith revel

Did you ever see dust look in the mirror
                correct an error
                face it's fearer
                see things clearer

Did you ever see dust wash it's self off
                starve a cold
                feed a cough
                live to be old

If you have never seen any of this
You think of yourself not of what you are

You are dust by God animated
        dust by the devil contaminated
        dust by Jesus purificated
        dust by the Spirit illuminated

Be not afraid of God's broom
        Let Him sweep you up
