To my dearest Tricia,

In you my love, I found no reason in the world to look beyond you. I saw the way you carried your beauty, to show to all who you are. I was satisfied to have struck gold, and to be tempted in your embrace. I gave you a diamond from my heart, that you had mined out of it with yours.

If love is blind I'm happy that it was, and I'm happy it still is. There is no place I'd rather be, than with you before my eyes. Though time has done it's thing to you and me, shame on it, if it destroys my memory.

I can see you with a child up late.
I can see you with the kids at play.

I can see you hugging and kissing me.
I can see you sharing your body.
I can see you giving birth to a baby.
I can see you living determindly.

I can hear you saying "I love you".
I can hear it more than I deserve.
I can hear you laughing at me too.
I can hear you correcting me with nerve.

I can hear you teaching our kids.
I can hear you praying a prayer.
I can hear you popping those lids.
I can hear you fixing your hair.

I can feel the press of your lips to mine.
I can feel the sensation of your body's touch.
I can feel the unity of yours and mine.
I can feel our love means going dutch.

These words can not replace the day, the time, or the experience of all the sights, sounds and touches of love you have showered upon me. For me, if there is a heaven on earth, it is being with you, my very truest friend.
